Dutch housing shortage increases to 450,000 homes in 2027

There are sufficient plans in place to start building more than 100,000 homes in 2024.
These plans are only feasible with additional incentivising measures from the government.

Research by Capital Value shows that the investment volume reached EUR 3.8 billion in 2023.
Of the total volume EUR 2.27 billion was invested in new-build rental housing.

Daelmans B.V. has acquired 121 houses in De Tjalk neighbourhood in Lelystad, while MHM Onroerend Goed B.V. has acquired 52 houses in the Middenhoven neighbourhood in Amstelveen..Capital Value and NewGround Law assisted Bouwinvest in the sales process.
