Amvest sells residential portfolio

23 maart 2014

On behalf of the Amvest Residential Dynamic Fund, Amvest Investment Management recently sold nine complexes (in total 238 single- and multi-family dwellings) for approximately 37 million euros. The houses are located throughout the Netherlands, in Vleuten, Badhoevedorp, Eindhoven, Zeist, Oisterwijk, Rosmalen en Etten-Leur. Buyer is investment company Grouwels B.V.. Capital Value advised Amvest on the sale.

Kees van Harten, director Capital Value: "This is the first large residential investment transaction of 2014. More and more investors show interest in buying large residential portfolios. The willingness of Dutch and German banks to finance residential investments plays an important role as well as the fact that the prices on the residential market are stabilising.

Research by Capital Value shows that both Dutch and international investors have a total of 3 billion euros available for investments in Dutch residential real estate.
