The Capital Value Thesis Award is an annual prize presented to a student who has written a bachelor’s or master’s thesis at a Dutch University, Higher Education Institution, or one of the ASRE professional programs (MSRE or MRE).

Compete for the Capital Value Thesis Award 2026!
Submissions for the 2026 Thesis Award are now open! Students from Dutch HBO or WO programs and ASRE are invited to submit their theses. Want to compete for a chance to win two tickets to London? Submit your thesis, along with a summary of no more than 2 pages, to research@capitalvalue.nl by 31 December 2025. Include a brief motivation explaining why you believe you should win the Capital Value Thesis Award.
The Jury
Submitted theses will be assessed by an expert jury consisting of real estate professionals from Capital Value, including Thijs Konijnendijk (Director Research & Data Intelligence). The jury will evaluate the theses based on their added value for the Dutch residential (investment) market or healthcare real estate market.
The Award Ceremony
The winner of the Capital Value Thesis Award will be announced during our annual Shared Value conference. At this event—attended by investors, housing associations, and developers—the winner will receive an amazing city trip to London for two people, including train travel and two hotel nights.
