Construction company Stout B.V. has sold a development of 58 apartments in Dordrecht. It concerns a complete transformation of the former ‘Regional office’ at Noordendijk 250. This office building was originally built for the Municipal Energy Company (now: Eneco) and is located in the Stadswerven-Zuid district. With the new name VOLT, it will be transformed into a modern and lively apartment building with a total of 58 rental apartments. The buyer is Holland Immo Group, which will purchase the project turn-key. Capital Value advised Bouwonderneming Stout on the sale.

New energy for the Regional Office
In addition to the modern apartments, an Integral Child Center will be realised on the ground floor with a primary school, daycare center, playgroup and after-school care as well as commercial space (at the rear of the building). VOLT is located in Stadswerven-Zuid, a lively neighborhood with many developments in the field of living, culture and catering. Thijs Meijer, residential investment adviser for new-build developments at Capital Value: “Transformations like VOLT, from office to modern apartment building, make an important contribution to reducing the housing shortage in the Netherlands.”
Manfred Kühl, CEO at Holland Immo Group: “This transformation fits in perfectly with our strategy to invest in high-profile new-build homes, where we, as a forward funding partner, can realise the construction of the project.”
