Capital Value has sold 91 single-family homes in Schagen, the Netherlands. The homes, which are located at Patrijzenhof, West of the city centre in the neighbourhood Waldervaart, were sold to a private investor. De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek acted as legal adviser. Capital Value provided advice during the sales process.

According to C.A. van Harten LLM MRE MRICS, who supervised the transaction on behalf of Capital Value, ‘demand for rented homes is still increasing. Many private investors want to expand their portfolios or enter this segment. Rented Single-family homes in particular are very much in demand’.
Capital Value’s figures indicate that this year will see a record number of transactions in this segment. Earlier research revealed that private investors, institutional investors and foreign investors want to invest more in the Dutch residential sector.
