Housing association De Goede Woning from Rijssen has taken over the De Molenpoort residential complex with 63 apartments in Rijssen from Heimstaden. De Molenpoort was constructed in 1996 and has energy labels A and B. In addition to the spacious apartments, the complex also has a communal area, guest rooms and a fitness room for the residents. Capital Value assisted De Goede Woning with the transaction. Pillar notaries provided the housing associations with legal assistance. The transfer of the property will take place in January 2025.
De Goede Woning purchases 63 homes from Heimstaden

Heimstaden is selling part of its rental homes in various locations in the Netherlands. “We are pleased that we can transfer this complex to housing association De Goede Woning, which finds it important to be close to the tenant,” says spokesman Edward Touw of Heimstaden. “We are confident that the tenants of the Molenpoort will be in good hands with De Goede Woning.”
Manon Kuipers, director at Capital Value: “Many housing associations face a major challenge in expanding their portfolios with social and sometimes also mid-range rental homes. By taking over existing properties in their own working area from investors, housing associations can expand their portfolios in the short term. With the acquisition by De Goede Woning, the apartments will also remain available for the rental sector for many years to come.”
