Housing association Lieven de Key is expanding further at the NDSM shipyard in Amsterdam-Noord . Yesterday, they signed the agreement with Bot Bouw and Citystone for 90 social housing units specifically for young people. Boegbeeld makes an important contribution to the development of the NDSM shipyard into a lively, urban residential area. The preparatory work will start within a few months. Capital Value supervised the sales process.

An important opportunity for first-time buyers in Amsterdam
With project Boegbeeld, Lieven de Key offers first-time homebuyers the opportunity to take their first steps on the housing market in one of the fastest growing areas of Amsterdam. The project is part of a mixed housing programme with a total of 169 homes, including 79 owner-occupied homes, focussing on a diverse and inclusive neighborhood.

Arjan Peerboom, CEO at Capital Value: “Boegbeeld is a important asset to Amsterdam-Noord and makes a positive contribution to the shortage of social housing in this district. It is the first new construction development to be realised on the A-lots of the NDSM site. Due to the sustainable design, a communal courtyard and roof terraces, it fits in perfectly with the target group of home seekers in this region.”
