New development The Ox in Amsterdam sold to Vesteda
The Ox will comprise 168 high-level apartments and an underground car park. Van Wijnen, who is responsible for the development and for the turn-key realisation, will start construction in 2020.
About The OX
The OX will be realised in Amsterdam Osdorp, at the junction of Osdorper Ban and Meer en Vaart, close to Sloterplas and shopping centre Osdorpplein. The complex will offer 2 -, 3 – and 4 room rental apartments with either a spacious balcony or terrace. The average size is 70 sqm and they vary in size from 58 to 126 sqm. LEVS Architecten in Amsterdam designed the building which will be realised at a location which is currently being redeveloped completely.
Marijn Snijders, Managing Director of Capital Value: “80% of the apartments in the OX will be made available in the mid-priced rental segment. It is very positive that institutional investors are willing to invest in this type of residential real estate at the long term. The OX is a very welcome addition to the housing stock of Amsterdam.”
