Sale of 55 multi-family homes in Krimpen aan den IJssel

We assisted Qua Wonen with the sale of two complexes in Krimpen aan den IJssel. One of the complexes comprised 27 multi-family dwellings (Meerkoet complex), while the other comprised 28 multi-family dwellings and two commercial spaces (Vijverstaete III complex).

Our approach

In cooperation with Qua Wonen, we carried out a structured, transparent process in compliance with the regulations for the sale of association property. Following an extensive preparation process, the complexes were widely introduced to the market to reach a maximum number of prospects.

The result

A large number of parties bid on the project. The dwellings were ultimately successfully sold to Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance.

The director/administrator Rob van den Broeke of QuaWonen commented on the sale: "Under the new Housing Act, housing associations must focus on the rental of subsidised rented homes. Maintaining market rented homes in our portfolio is no longer part of our core activities. We therefore decided to sell these two complexes. We conducted a careful search for a reliable organisation, taking the interests of the current tenants into account."
