Sale of Olympia portfolio in Amsterdam

On behalf of the investment concern B.V. Beleggingscombinatie Olympia, we assisted the sale of a unique portfolio in Amsterdam. The portfolio comprised of three exceptional complexes with 206 apartments and 10 commercial spaces.

Our approach

These exceptional complexes were built in the 1930s and are part of Plan Zuid, an urban plan for the borough Amsterdam South that was designed at the beginning of the 20th century by the architect H.P. Berlage. We advised the seller about an appropriate strategy and put the portfolio on the market using a transparent and structured sales process. In marketing the portfolio, we devoted a lot of attention to the unique character of the historic complexes. In order to convey the potential of the dwellings to potential buyers, we set up a model dwelling in one of the complexes that served as a welcoming point at the start of viewings. We approached a broad target group, which meant that many parties had the opportunity to bid on the project.

The result

This exceptional portfolio attracted a lot of attention from investors and a significant number of bids. By generating the right attention for the portfolio, an outstanding sales result was achieved for our client.
